Once Upon Stilettos

no white after labor day

You know how at the beginning of the summer you have all these huge plans of things you’re going to do with that fabulous few months of no snow? Like a huge bullet list of plans…like: go whitewater rafting, go to the summer events and festivals downtown (got a few in, more next year), go horseback riding (done), take a road trip (planned not executed), finally throw my cousin’s bridal shower even though her wedding was two summers ago (planned many times never executed), throw a BBQ (it was eventful), wonderland (done), spend hours on end on patios on the beaches, patios in the city (not nearly enough), go hiking, lose ten pounds (four so far), a weekend with my sorority sisters, get a great tan (tanned but not properly), have at least one good summer fling (done, very well done), buy a horse (there seems to be opposition), clear all debt (so close!)…and on and on.

So to make up for this lack of accomplishment and to acknowledge the trade of white skirts for sweaters, open toe shoes for boots we’re going to have one last glass on one last patio tomorrow…adios summer!

Verbatim:
Nancy says: well a regular size pony is too big…but a dwarf pony..see a dwarf pony it’s tiny so this way you can just have it follow you and if you get sick of it..you can make it stand still and you can turn it into your clothes rack and it’ll be perfect height…now when you need clothes, you can call it’s name and it can come galloping to you with your clothes
