I used to be one of those people who didn’t watch TV unless there was a game on. I didn’t even own a TV throughout my university years. Sex and the City was online and I usually went to the frat house or to the pub to watch the game.
In March I was introduced to Grey’s Anatomy and I watched the first and second seasons on DVD until I had them memorized. I downloaded all the back episodes of season three so I would be up to speed for the end of the season.
And now it seems I watch The Hills. That’s right. The Hills. Lauren. Audrina. Whitney. Heidi. I know who they are. I have opinions on them and their lives and their hair and who they date and oh my freaking lord what is happening to me???? I may or may not have watched season one of Laguna Beach all in one day, given up on season two halfway through because Kristen was too annyoing, and may or may not have stayed up till 3:30am watching season one of The Hills last night.
Help.

For a time, I was addicted to that short-lived show called Sports Night, about the fast-paced chaotic backstage romance and drama of a TV show. I think I even had a mild crush on one of the female cast members.

OMG!!!!! I Facebook stalked the Laguna Beach kids and I don’t even have Facebook!!! (I *heart* Trey)
I never owned a TV during uni and still don’t, but I make it a point to catch the Hills. It’s better than caffeine.

It’s alright dear. I’ve spent enough time soaking up the boob tube–anything and everything just to distract myself from the real world. I can get sucked into the old reruns! Have a good weekend

I love the Hills! It’s all about the cheese factor.

I’ve never watched any of these shows you mention but that’s because I’m pathetic and just watch Friends re-runs over and over and over
Keep me updated about next week!

With the exception of sports I too stay away from television. Not because I do not like whats on, but because I’d rather read or spend my time writing.
I think the HBO series Rome was the best series of all time.
And yes, I agree. Geaux Saints!

Welcome to my world lady! Brookem and I have actually exchanged emails about why Spencer is the most annoying person on Earth. I have to say, out of the whole crew- Whitney is the only one I’d want to have a beer with. Partly because I suspect she’s the only one who would ever consider drinking a beer, but that’s another rant for another day.

I am similarly consumed with Grey’s and The Hills… And similarly embarrassed by the obsession.
