Soooo…I’m a loser. Its true.
Halloween is still six weeks away and two weeks ago, when it was two months away, I went to Party Packagers and bought $50 of decorations and then to Zellers where I bought $40 of candy (I may have eaten most of it already). I’ve also started casually inviting people to my Costumes Required Halloween Party…its almost like a verbal Save The Date. As in, “Hey I’m going to have a Halloween party in a few weeks…you should start thinking of a costume! I’ll get you the details later.”
I’ve found a recipe for black martinis and started brainstorming appropriate party foods. I’d love suggestions!
I’ve been debating if there should be a Best Costume contest.
The big decision now is if I should be a cowgirl or a gypsy. Votes?
I? Am prepared!
For a party that is six weeks away.
And also? Kind of a loser…who starts planning Halloween parties so far in advance!

Dude, I keep a list throughout the year of possible costume ideas. If being excited over this upcoming holiday makes you a ‘loser’, I’m right there with you.

That is something I would so do…I plan soo much in advance. Having a blackberry with an easy to use ‘memo pad’ to jot down those on the spur planning ideas makes it even easier for me to be a planning geek *adjusts nerdy glasses*

WOW! Sounds terribly exciting! It’s my mum’s birthday on Halloween but I hope this year I can make time to party, last year Isheeta and I had a BLAST… she has the most incredible outfits!

um me. i started sketching jackolanterns in class tonight and i’m not even kidding. last year i had a costume party but this year i was thinking of having a black and white halloween party. with major hits of orange in the decor of course. you must tell me your black martini recipe!
my first choice was gypsy but i think cowgirl could be fun too … i’m not sure.

I’d say gypsy first, cowgirl second.
But if you’re gonna be either, buy yourself a pony as an accessory.

I say gypsy, decked out in delicious black and gold accessories. (the black and gold is just a coincidence of course)

Dude, as long as you don’t give out Godiva chocolates (THOSE ARE FOR ME…um, and you), you can buy way ahead and beat the rush the night before.
I vote gypsy. In red. Red gypsy.
